An impressive program featuring the assembling of eminent former faculty members was organised by Lyallpur Khalsa College under the directions of College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra. To begin the proceedings, Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar, Head, PG Department of Punjabi introduced the purpose of this program aimed at appreciating former members of teaching faculty in the years gone by. Dr. Manohar Singh, Head of the Computer Science and IT Department welcomed the former faculty members and also called for their suggestions for enhancing vocational and professional level courses for students as per the needs of current scenario. On behalf of the assembled former faculty members, valuable suggestions were put forth by Prof. Manjeet Singh and Prof. Sarita Tewari for the betterment of the institution. Speaking on the occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra recalled the immense hard work and dedication of these security members and also urged them to maintain their ties with the college in the years to come. Principal Dr. Samra also respectfully mentioned the ongoing week marking the Martyrdom anniversaries in Sikh religion as a guiding light and inspiration for all of us to realize our obligations for the society and nation. Principal Dr. GS Samra also announced that every year, the date of 22nd December will be affixed for this particular ceremony.
