F.D.P. concludes successfully at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Computational Statistics & Data Analysis’ successfully concluded at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. The FDP was organized by PG Department of Computer Science & IT of the college. S. Jaspal Singh Waraich, Joint Secretary College Governing Council was the chief guest at the valedictory function. S. Waraich along with Principal and Chairperson of Faculty Development Program Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Convenor & HOD Dr. Manohar Singh gave away a certificate to the participants. Co-Convenor Prof. Sandeep Bassi and Coordinator of F.D.P. Dr. Baldev Singh was also present on the occasion. Speaking at the function S. Waraich talked about the achievement of the college in various fields & congratulated the department on the successful organization of their program. Principal Dr. G.S. Samra talked about the importance of incorporation of research in modern teaching practices. HOD Dr. Manohar Singh congratulated the organizing committee of FDP and assured that this will become an annual feature of the department. Earlier during the FDP, the 57 participants discussed the topics covered in the program & gave presentations as well. Among the participants, Prof. Ratnakar Mann, Prof. Vaishali Gupta, Dr. Jaspal Kaur & Dr. Baljinder Kaur gave their feedback on the FDP in the form of speech. Dr. Daljit Kaur conducted the stage on the occasion.
