Childrens day was celebrated by the NSS wing of Lyallpur Khalsa College at Government Senior Secondary School girls Jandu Singha. In this program organised in collaboration with Khalsa Aid Club, the NSS volunteers of the college distributed pens, pencils, copies and other utilities to the needy students of the school. Speaking on the occasion the College Principal Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra said that it was a priority of the college to provide education without any distinction of caste, creed, race, religion or region and to serve the society selflessly. He added the college had always try to instil these ideas in the minds of its pupils. Informing the present coordinator of NSS wing of the college Dr Tarsem Singh said that the NSS unit of the college was always ready to serve the society. The occasion was witnessed by the presence of NSS coordinator of this college and the principal, staff and the students of the school.
