General Guidelines for Candidates:

  • Participants must bring their Identity cards and authority letter duly signed by their respective principals.
  • Students must take care of their belongings.
  • Latecomers will not be allowed to participate in an ongoing event.
  • Any team found creating indiscipline shall be disqualified.
  • Decision of the Judges will be final at the end.
  • No Registration fees will be charged.
  • Lunch Coupons will be provided to all the participants.

 NOTE: College should ensure participation such that there is no clash of events.

 Event Guidelines

Event 1: Idea Snapshots

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Each team will consist of two participants.
  3. Time of 5-7 mins will be given to each team.
  4. First bell will ring after 5 mins and final bell after 7 mins.
  5. There will be provision of multimedia projector.
  6. The presentation should be in English only.
  7. Topics for technical paper are :
  • Digital India in 2020
  • Business Intelligence
  • Deep Learning
  • Digital Currencies
  • Intelligent Apps
  • Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality
  • Cyber Security and AI
  • Edge Computing
  • Future of Machine Learning
  • The Internet of Bodies

Event 2: Debugging

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Each team will consist of two participants.
  3. The problem will be in either C/ C++/Python and will be given on the spot.
  4. Time limit will be: 60 minutes.

Event 3: Software Showcase

  1. Implement your ideas using any platform and present it in our software showcase event.
  2. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  3. Each team will consist of two participants.
  4. Time limit will be 60 minutes.
  5. Participants should bring their own software and compiler.
  6. Participant must bring a letter of originality duly signed by their Department Head
  7. Laptops are allowed.

Event 4: Logo Designing

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Each team will consist of two participants.
  3. The topic for which the logo has to be designed will be given on the spot.
  4. Time allotted is 90 mins.
  5. Participants can design a logo using Corel draw/Adobe Photoshop.

Event 5: Test your Technical Skills

  1. Maximum of five teams per college are allowed.
  2. Only one participant per team is permitted.
  3. The participants have to take an IT related objective type online test.
  4. Duration of test will be 45 minutes.

Event 6: Web Portal Development

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Each team will consist of two
  3. Time limit will be 90 minutes.
  4. Participants will be required to develop a web portal using HTML/DHTML/VB /PHP/ASP.Net/JavaScript/Flash/Dreamweaver/ Access/Oracle.
  5. Internet access will not be allowed.
  6. Theme of the web portal will be given on the spot.
  7. No external help shall be allowed.

Event  7: Logic Whirlpool

  1. Participants will be required to develop a program in C/C++/Python/Java.
  2. Two teams per college shall be allowed and each team can comprise of two participants.
  3. Time limit will be 90 mins.
  4. Problem will be given on the spot.
  5. No external help (i.e. internet access, help book etc) shall be allowed.

Event 8:Net Savvy

  1. One team per college is allowed and each team can comprise of two participants.
  2. Participants are to search relevant information regarding the topic given on the spot. After that a document in MS Word and a presentation in MS PowerPoint is to be prepared and saved in the team code folder by the participant. Relevance of content and its presentation will be the major consideration.
  3. Total time allotted will be 60 mins.

Event 9: IT Extempore

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Only one participant per team is permitted.
  3. The medium of communication should be English only.
  4. Time limit is 2-3 minutes.

Event 10: IT in Colors

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Only one participant per team is permitted.
  3. The participants have to bring a pre-created poster/painting/illustration (use half-chart sheet) on some technical topic of their own.

Event 11: IT Collage

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Each team shall comprise of two participants.
  3. Time allotted is 60 minutes.
  4. Participants will have to bring the required material of their own.
  5. Sheet Size 15” *22”. (1/2 Standard Chart Sheet)
  6. The topic will be given on the spot.

Event 12: Tech GD

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Only one participant per team is permitted.
  3. The topic will be given on the spot.
  4. Total Time allotted will be 60 minutes.

Event 13: IT Quiz

  1. Maximum of one team per college is allowed.
  2. Three students per team shall be allowed.
  3. All 3 members of team have to appear in screening test.
  4. Selected participants will appear for Finals of IT-Quiz.

Event 14: Pixel Plus

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Each team shall comprise of one participant.
  3. Student must bring his/her own Digital Camera (5 Megapixel and above) along with required accessories.
  4. Photography with mobile phone is not allowed.
  5. The theme for this event will be given by the teacher-in-charge at the time of registration.
  6. Each participant is required to submit 5 best photographs shot by him/her at the time of event.

Event 15: IT Cartooning

  1. Maximum of one team per college is allowed.
  2. Each team shall comprise of two participants.
  3. Time allotted is 90 minutes.
  4. The topic will be given on the spot.
  5. Participants can design cartoon using Corel Draw/Adobe Photoshop software.

Event 16: AD-Mad Show

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. A team can comprise of minimum of three and maximum of five participants.
  3. The topic for this event will be given at registration counter.
  4. Time of 5-7 mins will be given to each team to perform.
  5. First bell will ring after 5 mins and final bell after 7 mins.

Event 17: Hands-on Keyboard

  1. Maximum of two teams per college are allowed.
  2. Each team shall comprise of one participant.
  3. The material for typing will be given on the spot.
  4. Time allotted is 15 minutes.
  5. The result will be based on accuracy, speed.

Event 18: Choreography

  1. Maximum of one team per college is allowed.
  2. Minimum five and Maximum seven participants per team are allowed.
  3. Time allotted is 5-7 minutes. (5 min. signaling)
  4. Props can be used.
  5. Music can be in Hindi, Punjabi or English.
  6. Judgment will be based on overall execution (Creativity, Variety, Uniqueness and Entertainment).
  7. Contestants should bring their music on CD with them at that event.
  8. Topics for Choreography are :
  • After effects of Natural Disasters
  • Addiction of Smartphones
  • Pollution Management in India
  • Incredible India
  • Mushrooming of IELTS centers
  • Unprecedented Rise in Petrol Prices.
  • Welfare Schemes launched by Indian Government.

Event 19: Query Maestro

  1. Maximum of one team per college is allowed.
  2. Each team shall comprise of two
  3. Time duration to solve the query will be 30 mins
  4. A query will be given on the spot and participant has to solve the query in the stipulated time.

Event 20: RJying

  1. Maximum one team per college is allowed.
  2. Only one participant per team is permitted.
  3. In the first round, the RJ will introduce his radio frequency, program and a link of around 1-2 minutes duration.
  4. In the second round, RJ will attend the call in which a question will be asked. Time limit for second round is 4-5 minutes.
  5. The criteria of judgment will be fluency of speaking, tone, variations and content.
