‘IT Spark’ successfully concludes at LKC

            Two day mega event ‘IT-SPARK’, the annual inter house competitions organised by P.G. Department of Computer Science & IT successfully concluded at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. President of College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur was the chief guest at the inauguration while S. Kulwant Singh, ADC (Development), Jalandhar was the chief guest at the valedictory session. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Head of Department Dr. Manohar Singh gave floral welcome to the guest. Sardarni. Balbir Kaur formally declared the event open and gave best wishes to the participants. Sardar Kulwant Singh congratulated all the winners and highlighted the importance of such events in the overall development of a person. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the department on the mega event and motivated the students to take part with full zeast and zeal. Giving details, HOD Dr. Manohar Singh said that 436 students divided into 6 houses participated in 22 events spread across two days. Later, the guests along with Principal, HOD and senior faculty members of the department gave away prizes to the winners. The first position was bagged by Abacus house with 94 points, while second position was secured by Sigma house with 68 points.

             On the occasion Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand, Prof. Sandeep Bassi, Dr. Baldev Singh, Prof. Mandeep Singh Bhatia, Prof. Sandeep Singh, Prof. Manpreet Singh Lehal, Prof. Gagandeep Singh, Prof. Ratnakar Mann, Dr. Daljit Kaur, Prof. Navneet Kaur, Prof. Archna Walia and all other faculty member were present. Prof. Karamjit Kaur Randhawa conducted the stage.
