Lyallpur Khalsa College celebrated Raksha Bandhan with Forward Fourteen Battalion of Army on 14 August 2019. As a gesture of solidarity and respect for our soldiers, twenty-five NCC girl cadets of the college tied rakhi to the army personnel of the unit.  Col Ran Vijay Singh and Major Abeek Turai welcomed the gesture of the students. They interacted and motivated the NCC girl Cadets for joining Indian Army. Principal Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra applauded Social Sensitization Club, NCC Air Wing and NCC Army Wing of the college for initiating and organizing this auspicious celebration. He also said that this is a perfect way to express love and devotion for the brother soldiers who protect our borders round the year and in all circumstances. He further emphasised that we want the jawans to feel that the entire country is with them and we too are their family.
