Assistant Professor

Dr. Inderjeet Kaur did her M.Sc. in Microbiology from Department of Microbiology, Dolphin (P.G) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun, affiliated to H.N.B Garhwal University (Central University), Uttarakhand and Doctorate in Microbiology from College of Basic Sciences and Humanities (COBS & H), Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. She has done a major project on “Drug Resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis to Anti – TB drugs among the suspected cases of pulmonary tuberculosis in Dehradun city” in her post graduation studies. Her Ph.D. thesis title was “Biochemical and Molecular characterization of alkaline protease of Bacillus circulans MTCC 7906”.

Received a minor research project on “Improved production and scale up studies of alkaline protease under optimized conditions by using free and immobilized mutant cells of Bacillus circulans and development of its commercial detergent formulations” from UGC Delhi in 2016.
