Lyallpur Khalsa College will conduct sports trials for the upcoming session 2019-20 on dates 28, 29 and 30th May in the S. Balbir Singh Sports Stadium of the college. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra notified that sportsmen for Hockey, Athletics, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, Karate and Cycling, can appear for trials on the opening day of May 28. On 29th May, trials shall be conducted for Handball, Tennis, Baseball, Volleyball, Swimming, Waterpolo, Gymnastics, Archery, Vushu and Kabaddi. On 30th May, the third and final day of the trials, Football, Boxing, Rugby, Shooting, Fencing, Judo, Rowing, Canoeing, Kecking and Taekwondo trials shall be held. Dr. Jaspal Singh, Head of the Physical Education Department, informed that graduate and higher secondary cleared candidates can report for these trials at 9 am sharp in their sports kit with original documents whilst assuring best facilities for promising sportsmen as an encouragement on behalf of the college.
