Around 650 students proudly wore academic gown in the Annual Convocation held at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, today. Chief Guest of the event, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Professor IIT Ropar, conferred on degrees to these students who graduated their Masters Exams in sessions 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 in various academic streams. Delivering the convocation address, the Chief Guest urged the young scholars to work hard for the achievement of their respective goals. He lauded the Management, Principal and Staff of the institution for their endeavors in providing value based education to their students. Congratulating the students, he exhorted them to remain attached to their roots. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur welcomed the Chief Guest and reiterated the commitment of the institution to quality education, useful research and all round development of students. In his address, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh highlighted the achievements of the college in Academics and Sports and said that the focus of the college was on career oriented education and more courses in this line would be started in coming sessions. The occasion was marked by the distinguished presence of by S. Jaspal Singh Waraich Joint Secretary, and Members Governing Council and Management Committee Sardarni Sukhraj Kaur Sandhu, S. Prabhpal Singh Pannu and the staff. In the end Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Vice-Principal thanked the guests, the entire Governing Council, Principal, Prof. Navdeep Kaur Registrar, Dr. Harjit Singh, staff and students.
