Players of the college who excelled in sports at national and international level in session 2018-19 were honoured today in a brief function held in the college. On this occasion Suryabhanupratap for Wushu , Vasu Kumra for Karate, Ajay Kumar for Judo, Gurinderveer Singh  for Atheletics and Vijay Kumar for Boxing were honoured with cash prizes, along with coaches of select games. Addressing the present, the college Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that the College was making strenuous efforts to promote sports in the region and for that reason it had signed MoU with different bodies. He informed that the college had won the University Sports Championship for record 23 times, and attributed the achievements of the students to their hardwork and dedication.  The head of the Physical Education and Sports Department Dr. Jaspal Singh informed the present about the achievements of the sports department. Vote of thanks on the occasion was presented by Prof Jasreen Kaur, Dean Academic Affairs of the College.
