Legal Aid Club

With an objective of delivery system of legal aid for social justice, Legal Aid Club has been established in the college. The aim of this club is to spread legal awareness and promote justice and equality. Working in association with District Legal Services Authority, it educates those who cannot access justice due to economic and other disability.

This is effected through various methods like painting, poster and card making competitions, Nukkad Natak, debate and declamation contests, legal awareness camps and seminar etc. where public is audience with information regarding human rights, consumer rights, rights of women and children, labour rights, right of children for free and compulsory education etc. The Youth is motivated to eradicate evils like domestic violence and cruelty gainst women, dowry, female foeticide, drug addiction, bonded labour, corruption etc. The members of the club also persuade people to settle their disputes amicably through Lok Adalats.
