As the 22-time record winner of the Guru Nanak Dev University Overall Sports trophy, Lyallpur Khalsa College further enhanced its excellence in the field of sports by organizing an extremely successful trial programs for the upcoming session of 2019-20. The trials conducted on 28, 29 and 30th May 2019 in the college stadium saw an overwhelming participation of 900 budding sportsmen out of which 400 were selected after a rigorous trial program. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra informed that the selected candidates from the trials shall be given best possible facilities by the college including freeship in academics, training, diet and cash rewards as encouragement gestures in order to bring out their potential in sports to the optimum level. Dr. Jaspal Singh, Head of the Department of Physical Education along with his Sports Committee performed an incredible obligation throughout the trials program spanning over three days.
